Resource Cards

Resource Cards is under Content in the left-hand menu. Each card is a picture and a title, used in the Community Resources section of the homepage.

Cards don't appear on their own. You create them here, then choose which ones to show in the Community Resources block on the homepage.

Adding a card

1. Click Resource Cards in the left-hand menu.
2. Click Create New.
3. Type the Title. Required.
4. Choose the Image.
5. Click Save.

There is no draft. Saving is immediate — but a new card does not appear on the website until you add it to the homepage.

Getting a card onto the homepage

Creating the card is only half the job:

1. Create the card here.
2. Go to Home under Collections.
3. Open the Community Resources block.
4. Add your card to Cards.
5. Save.

You can show up to 8 cards on the homepage. If the block is full, remove one before adding another.

Changing a card

Edit it here and save. Anywhere the card is shown updates automatically — you don't need to touch the homepage.

That's the advantage of cards living in their own screen: fix the title or swap the image once, and it's right everywhere.

Removing a card

Two different things, and it's worth knowing which you want:

• Take it off the homepage — remove it from the Community Resources block on Home. The card still exists and can be added back.
• Delete it entirely — delete it here. That is permanent, and it disappears from the homepage too.

Prefer the first unless you're sure.
